UPDATE: Man’s body recovered from Lake Ray Roberts

Texas Parks and Wildlife officials say the body of a 63-year-old Sanger man who was reported missing Sunday at Lake Ray Roberts has been recovered.

Texas Game Wardens’ Underwater Search and Recovery Team made recovery on Monday.

Initial reports indicated the man had jumped into the water, but did not resurface.

The victim was not believed to have been wearing a life vest at the time.

Man arrested for Murder in Johnson County

On Sunday afternoon at approximately 2:53 p.m., the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 medical call reporting an unresponsive female at a local residence.

Deputies responded to the 4000 block of Dillard Ct. in Joshua, Johnson County, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 40-year-old female deceased.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Texas Rangers, initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

As a result of the investigation, Noe Reyes, a 40-year-old male, was detained, interviewed, and subsequently arrested. Reyes has been charged with the murder of the woman.

This remains an active and ongoing investigation. No additional information is available for release at this time.

Man killed in shooting at Arlington event venue

The Arlington Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that resulted in the death of a 32-year-old man.

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at approximately 4:29 a.m., officers responded to an event venue in the 1200 block of California Lane to investigate a reported shooting.

When they arrived, they located multiple shell casings in front of the business. Witnesses told them a physical fight broke out at the location, during which someone fired multiple shots.

A short time later, officers were notified by staff at Medical City Arlington that a 32-year-old man had just arrived at their emergency room with an apparent gunshot wound. Officers determined the man had come from the shooting scene and was transported to the hospital by friends. He was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.

Detectives are currently conducting follow-up investigation and working to identify the shooter. At this time, no arrests have been made.

UPDATE: Fight leads to shooting at Hutchins apartments; one shot, suspect arrested

On March 29, 2026, at approximately 12:03 a.m., officers with the Hutchins Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Hutchins Gateway Apartments, located at 700 J.J. Lemon Road.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim lying in the breezeway of an apartment building with an apparent gunshot wound.

Witnesses at the scene directed officers to a nearby apartment, where the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.

Hutchins Fire/EMS personnel arrived shortly thereafter, provided medical aid to the victim, and transported him to a local hospital for further treatment.

Witnesses provided officers with doorbell camera footage and stated that the victim and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation. According to witness accounts, the confrontation escalated when the victim and two other individuals began physically assaulting the suspect.

During the altercation, the suspect reportedly produced a handgun and discharged two rounds, striking the victim once.

The identities of the suspect, victim, and witnesses are being withheld at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

Good Samaritan fatally struck by vehicle after crash in Dallas

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident that occurred earlier this morning on southbound Highway 67 in Dallas.

Authorities say there were a couple of crashes that occurred in the area. An individual got out of their car to assist when they were struck and killed.

The crashes are still under investigation. SB service road and the right lane of SB 67 were blocked while DSO investigated the scene.

Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Irving

Irving Police is investigating a fatality accident that occurred overnight.

Police say a vehicle was traveling eastbound in the right lane of SH 183. A pedestrian was walking in the roadway at the same location, also in the right lane.

The driver of the vehicle did not see the pedestrian in the roadway and was unable to avoid a collision. The vehicle came to an immediate stop following the collision and was subsequently struck from behind by a second vehicle.

The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

There was no evidence of intoxication or excessive speed by either driver; therefore, no criminal charges are anticipated.

UPDATE: 3 killed, including shooter, in shooting at Birdville ISD parking lot

Haltom City Police were dispatched just before 4:30 PM to the 6100 block of East Belknap, in the stadium parking lot, following reports of a shooting. Officers determined that three individuals had been shot.

One of the individuals, believed to be the shooter, was located outside of a vehicle, while the other two victims were found inside the car.

A female victim was transported to a local hospital but later pronounced deceased. The second female victim in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Medics attended to the shooter, but he was also pronounced deceased a short time later.

This is believed to be an isolated incident and the area is secured.

“We do not have reason to believe that the incident was related to Birdville Independent School District,” said HCPD.

Man found shot in east Arlington convenience store parking lot dies at hospital

The Arlington Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man.

On Thursday, March 26, 2026, at approximately 1:24 a.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in a convenience store parking lot in the 2100 block of E. Abram Street. Upon arrival, officers located the victim unresponsive on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives are actively conducting follow-up investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting. No arrests have been made at this time. Detectives are also examining whether the incident may be connected to high-risk activity, though the circumstances remain under investigation.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased.

UPDATE: Driver shoots motorcyclist in leg along I30 in Arlington

At around 9:15pm Saturday, officers were driving in the eastbound lanes of I-30 near Ballpark Way when they noticed a motorcycle on the shoulder and a man on the ground who appeared to be in distress. The officers stopped to help the man and discovered he had been shot in the leg.

Officers provided first aid until paramedics arrived. The man was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

He told officers he had been riding his motorcycle eastbound along I-30 when traffic started to slow ahead of him, prompting him to slow down. He said the driver behind him started tailgating him and flashing their lights at him. A short time later, the driver got over a lane and pulled up next to him. The man said that’s when the driver displayed a gun and fired a shot, striking him in the leg.

The man then got over to the shoulder while the suspect vehicle continued traveling eastbound. 

At this time, no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing. 

Motorcyclist killed in crash on the Dallas North Tollway

On Saturday evening at around 7pm, Dallas Fire Rescue and DPS Troopers responded to the scene of a major accident involving a motorcycle on southbound Dallas North Tollway near Mockingbird Lane.

Authorities say traffic had slowed on the tollway when a motorcyclist failed to control their speed and collided with multiple vehicles. 

The motorcyclist was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene.

The crash is under investigation.
