Body found in vehicle at Hurst Walmart parking lot

The Hurst Police Department is investigating a body found inside of a vehicle at the Walmart on Precinct Line Road.

According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner records, the body of a 39 year old Bedford man was found inside of a vehicle cabin around 1:00pm Saturday afternoon. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot of the Walmart super center, 1732 Precinct Line Road at Harwood Road.

Reports from our followers indicated a vehicle was surrounded with crime-scene tape while Hurst police officers investigated the situation and coroner’s office removed the body.

The Tarrant County ME’s Office has not ruled an official cause of death yet. There is also no official information to indicate any type of foul play was involved.

Update – As of 2:30pm Sunday, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has not publicly released the cause of death, nor as the Hurst Police Department released anything via social media. We will continue to watch for any updates and provide them.
