Major Accident (Grand Prairie) PHI Med 8 launched to a major accident on WB I30 near 161. Multiple vehicles involved.
UPDATE – PIC – Picture of the accident on WB I30 near 161. Vehicle with major damage behind the fire truck. We will be refraining from posting any pictures of the vehicle. Multiple critical patients were transported form the scene, one by air medical helicopter.
Shooting (Dallas) 4200 blk W. Camp Wisdom Rd. – Unknown suspect reportedly drove up in a vehicle & shot a person at listed location. When officers made scene, the victim was still down on the ground. Crime Scene tape, P.E.S. (Physical Evidence Section/Crime Scene) and CAPERS (Crimes Against Person) notified.
Auto Pedestrian (Lake Worth) Units are working an auto vs. pedestrian at 9900 Confederate Park Road in the Lakeside area. CareFlite weather check was a negative, unable to fly due to weather/dense fog. MedStar is transporting to JPS.
Shooting (Arlington) APD is investigating a shooting at a gas station, E. Pioneer Parkway and S. Collins Street. Multiple witnesses heard gunshots and saw possible suspects fleeing the store. Gun shot victim showed up at MCA about 10 minutes later, unknown if its related to this shooting or not.
Robbery (Hurst) A BOLO was just issued (Be on the Lookout) for a robbery that occurred at the Dollar General Store located at 457 W Bedford Euless Road. Suspect was a white male, early 30’s with braces and some facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, green gloves, black cap with a ski mask. A weapon was displayed inside the store. He was last seen leaving the business through a rear door with money stuffed inside a yellow dollar general bag. A motorcycle possibly was involved. According to the BOLO, the employees inside the store were duct taped. It is not known at this time if the suspect was inside the store after it had closed.
Weather/EMS (Johnson Co, Hill Co) All CareFlite ground EMS units in Johnson and Hill Counties have been downgraded to priority 3 for EMS 9-1-1 calls due to dense fog. This means CareFlite ambulances will not be traveling with lights and siren. The strobe lights reflect the fog and could potentially cause a hazard to other drivers.
Accident w/ Extrication (Lewisville) Engine 166, Medic 166 on scene of a major accident requiring extrication in the 1900 Block of North Bound State Highway 121 at FM 544. Reported as two vehicles involved, two patients trapped. Needing second Ambulance to the scene along with Battalion 160 and Truck 167. Requested Careflite on stand by but they are unable to fly due to the weather.
Vehicle into Lake (Azle) Azle Rescue 52, Engine 52 and Briar Fire Department is on scene of a vehicle into the lake in the 6800 Block of Briar Road. FD can see tail lights of a vehicle in the water. FD reporting vehicle is not occupied.
Accident (Haltom City) Engine 473 along with HCPD are working an accident on East Bound Northeast Loop 820, just east of Beach Street. FD reporting no injuries but very heavy traffic and difficulty accessing the accident scene.
