Major Accident (Granbury)

Granbury Fire & Texas EMS – South Harbor Ct for a major accident, Vehicle versus building. Units on scene with a pick up partially into a building. 2 patients pinned between vehicle and building one patient pinned in vehicle.  EMS placing Air Medical on standby. A-13

Major Accident (Ft Worth)

Battalion 6, Quint 35, Engine 11, FWPD, and multiple MedStar units are working a major accident involving at least one vehicle and a school bus in front of Northwest High School, FM 156 and Texan Drive. MedStar is requesting three ambulances to the scene for multiple transports, but all injuries are reported to be minor.

Major Accident (Ellis County)

ESD #6 firefighters, Ellis County EMS Medic 162 and 505 (EMS Supervisor), Ellis County sheriffs and DPS troopers are working a major accident, reported as a possible auto pedestrian accident, near Butcher Road and Carlton Parkway north of Waxahachie. Medic 162 has launched CareFlite. CareFlite will be landing at Baylor Waxahachie to rendezvous with Medic 162.

Officer Involved Shooting (Dallas)

Dallas PD is investigating an officer involved shooting secondary to a traffic stop/foot pursuit in the 3700 block of W Davis St. According to scanner traffic, an officer pulled over a vehicle at the given location and one person ran on foot from the vehicle. The officer engaged in a foot pursuit and reported the suspect had a weapon. Shots fired. Dallas PD reports all officers are OK and the suspect has been transported to a local hospital. Please avoid this area.

Possible Drowning (Lake Lewisville) 3000 N I-35E

Possible Drowning (Lake Lewisville) 3000 N I-35E – Lewisville FD Dive Team on scene of the Northbound I-35 Bridge over Lake Lewisville. Reported person jumped from the highway bridge into the water. FD units on scene preparing to enter the water by boat. A3

Fatality Crash involving Motorcycle (Arlington)

Arlington PD: The Arlington Police Department responded to a crash on Sunday, August 21, 2016 around 11:00 p.m. in the 2500 block of E. Abram Street. A motorcycle was traveling westbound on Abram Street when it collided with a tractor trailer that was pulling out onto the roadway. The commercial vehicle was towing a trailer and the motorcycle struck the rear of the trailer. The motorcycle operator was pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured. Investigators will continue to look into the cause of the crash and examine the evidence from the roadway. It is believed that speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
