3 Alarm Fire (Dallas)

A fire in Dallas has quickly escalated to 3 alarms, 4900 block of Eastside Ave. Setting up aerial operations and working to protect multiple exposures. A third alarm was requested within minutes of the second alarm. Two story building fully involved.

Major Accident (Mansfield)

Mansfield Fire/EMS and Police are working a major accident on the southbound US-287 exit for Lone Star Road. Possible ejection. Units have landed PHI Med 8 helicopter at the scene. The exit ramp to Lone Star Road form 287 has been shut down.

PHI Med 8 has lifted from the scene en route to JPS with one patient. Possible femur fracture.

Fatality Accident (Plano)

Just after 2:15am, Plano Engine 1, Truck 1, and Medic 1 were dispatched to a traffic crash on northbound US-75 near the President George W. Bush Turnpike. One vehicle struck the back of an 18 wheeler. FD units advised there were two patients, one person deceased on the scene and one person with critical injuries. Northbound 75 was closed for several hours this morning, but has since been reopened.

Body Found (Dalworthington Gardens)

Dalworthington Gardens PD and Arlington PD are investigating a body found in Pappy Elkins Lake, 3300 block of Elkins Drive. Just after 1pm, an officer on patrol notified dispatch that there was a body in Pappy Elkins Lake. Arlington PD responded to assist with the crime scene and investigation. The body has been recovered and released to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. The investigation is ongoing.

Rescue (Dallas)

Multiple Dallas Fire Rescue crews are on scene of a rescue situation at a 15 story building near Greenville Ave and LBJ. Engine 57 reports one person is suspended from a top floor of the building. Possibly two people in need of rescue. Urban Search and Rescue has been dispatched to the scene.

Update – DFR confirms first person was successfully rescued. Working on second rescue at this time.
