Mitchell St. APD says they responded to serve a felony warrant for Aggravated Assault around 3 p.m. The suspect barricaded himself and refused to surrender. About an hour later, PD units saw smoke coming from the building and evacuated the building. It appears the suspect may have started a fire by lighting a mattress on fire.
