Accident w/ Entrapment (Aubrey)

Last night around 10:45pm, Aubrey FD, multiple EMS units, and several law enforcement all responded to a major crash on Highway 377 north of Aubrey High School. Extrication was required for multiple people trapped. One patient transported to Medical City Denton died at the hospital.

Departmental Accident (Ft Worth)

MedStar is on scene of a officer involved major crash at White Settlement Road and 820. EMS on scene reports two patients with serious to potentially critical injuries. CareFlite is on standby. Requesting a second ambulance. Officers possibly trapped in the vehicle. FWFD Squad 2 and other fire units responding.

Update – Extrication complete. This is possibly related to a armed person in a vehicle / road rage incident that started near I20 and Hulen Street.

Fatality Accident (Westlake)

Keller PD worked a major accident with a fatality at 2700 SH-114 w/b, in Westlake last night around 9pm. CareFlite was on standby and disregarded by medics. While finishing up the fatality accident, an intoxicated driver smashed into an unoccupied patrol unit around 1am this morning. That driver was arrested for DWI.
The initial accident was a single car collision. A vehicle was run off the road and hit the jersey barrier. Vehicle ended up in the left lane of the highway with no lights on. While motorists were assessing the damage, a pickup came up behind and tried to make an evasive maneuver, and wound up striking the driver which resulted in fatal injuries.

Shooting (Josephine)

Numerous agencies including Josephine PD, FD, Collin County EMS, and other law enforcement personnel are on scene of a reported shooting incident in Josephine. A medical helicopter has landed at the scene to airlift the victim to a trauma center. Reported to have occurred at or near the City Hall building.

Homicide (Arlington)

The Arlington Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of White Hall Road at the Rush Creek Apartments around 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Officers arrived on scene and found a man in his 40’s deceased in the parking lot from an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses reported seeing two men arguing in the parking lot before hearing several gunshots. It’s possible the deceased man was involved in an argument.

Detectives believe the second man ran towards a white passenger car which drove away after the shooting. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin has been notified. Search (Ft Worth)

Arlington PD and Fort Worth PD are searching for a possible kidnapping suspect in the area of Miller Ave. and 287. Suspect described as a young skinny black male, last seen wearing black shorts but no shirt. On foot in the area. APD and FWPD officers are on scene along with Air-1 helicopter. Call 9-1-1 if you see someone suspicious in the area matching this description.
