Dallas Fire Rescue is working a 2 alarm fire in the 2000 block of Ruder Street. Heavy smoke will be visible from this fire.

Fort Worth PD is investigating a major accident on southbound 287 near Blue Mound Road. Dispatched as an 18 wheeler vs. vehicle. Significant damage to vehicles involved. Possible fatality. Avoid this area.

Engine 31 is on scene with fire showing from a house in the 7600 block of Scarlet View Trail. Laying lines for fire attack. Battalion 6, Quint 9, Engine 37, Engine 25, Engine 41 all assigned.

Melissa FD, Collin County EMS, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident with entrapment in the 2400 block of McDonald St (Highway 5) in front of the Dollar General, just south of Melissa proper. Extrication is in progress. Anna FD and McKinney FD both requested to assist. Air medical has been launched to the scene.

Engine 3, Arlington EMS, and APD are on scene of a reported vehicle vs. building in the 2000 block of S. Cooper Street near Pioneer Parkway. Quint 6 is responding to assist. Requesting two ambulances to the scene.

Krum FD, Sanger FD, and Ponder FD are working a structure fire in the 6200 block of Freeman Road. First unit on scene reported smoke showing from a one story house. A 2 alarm response has been requested.

Battalion 1 and Battalion 5 are both on scene with heavy smoke showing from a one story house in the 1300 block of Melbourne Ave. Engine 14, Engine 15, Engine 23, Truck 23, Truck 33, and Rescue 33 are all assigned.

Engine 22 and FWPD are on scene of a major accident with reported rollover on northbound 820 at the exit for 287. Medstar has ground transported a patient to Cook Children’s with major injuries. Possible ejection.

Engine 24 and Truck 24 are on scene with heavy smoke showing from a one story house in the 1600 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street. Working fire declared. Engine 24 fast attack.

*Delayed for officer safety* Irving Police have been on scene of a barricaded person situation in the area of Loop 12 and Shady Grove. Officers have just made entry into the room and found the suspect deceased from a self inflicted gunshot wound. No officers were injured.
