Police investigating a reported shooting in Lantana area of Denton County

At around 7:15am this morning, Argyle Fire/EMS and police agencies were dispatched to a shooting in the 600 block of Boswell Crossing.

Officials have not yet released many details, but reports do indicate one person was shot. Dispatched information (which is preliminary and not official) indicated the person shot is an 60s aged male.

Argyle FD called the person deceased on the scene.

Reports indicate this is an officer-involved shooting.

Multiple police are on the scene investigating the incident.

We will share more official details once released by the police.

Dallas police locate 53-year-old homicide victim inside residence

At 12:51pm today, Dallas police received a call regarding a possible dead body inside of a residence in the 2400 block of Locust Ave.

When officers arrived, they located the body of a 53-year-old male inside the residence. A preliminary investigation indicates he died as a result of homicidal violence.

Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

UPDATE: 22-year-old dies in rollover crash with ejection along I30 in Fort Worth

Multiple people were seriously injured in a rollover crash this afternoon along eastbound I30 near Hulen Street in west Fort Worth. MedStar sent multiple ambulances to the scene and transported several patients to area hospitals.

At least two of the victims sustained critical injuries. CPR was administered; however, one victim has been confirmed deceased at the hospital. She has been identified as a 22-year-old female.

It is not yet clear if she was the driver or passenger inside the vehicle. The conditions of the other victims has not been released at this time.

Vehicle crashes into pond in Flower Mound

Flower Mound FD and PD along with Lewisville FD’s Dive Team are on scene of a vehicle into a body of water along the riverwalk off Morningside Drive. This will be just east of the Texas Health Flower Mound hospital off Long Prairie Road.

Reports indicate everyone was able to get out of the vehicle. The dive team is on scene to help fish the vehicle out of the water.

A possible accident was dispatched just before 9pm this evening. A vehicle was seen swerving in this general area. It is not yet confirmed if this call is related to this crash.

It is best to avoid this area while emergency responders work to recover the vehicle.

Update – Vehicle recovered. No one else located inside the vehicle. Units beginning to clear the scene.

One person airlifted from crash in Aubrey

Multiple agencies are on the scene of a major accident with reported entrapment at Fishtrap Road and FM 2931.

One person has been airlifted to the hospital in unknown condition, according to police.

The crash involved a passenger vehicle and an 18-wheeler. Two people inside the passenger vehicle were injured. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured.

Avoid this area.

Multiple police agencies track down and arrest three teenagers after armed robbery and police chase

Fantastic police work during the overnight hours led to the arrest of three teenagers – ages 17, 18, and 19 – following an armed robbery and police chase from Grapevine to Irving.

According to the Grapevine Police Department, officers were notified of an armed robbery in a neighboring city. Officers proactively set up surveillance on a 7-11 store located at 1700 William D. Tate as a precaution. About 30 minutes after the first robbery was reported, three suspects wearing hoodies showed up to the 7-11 store. Officers approached the entrance of the store and the three suspects ran out.

One suspect fled from the store on foot, but two jumped into a vehicle and took off. They led police on a chase from Grapevine into Irving. Three people from the vehicle fled on foot off Bellah Court in Irving.

Police officers from Grapevine, Irving, Southlake, and potentially others set up a perimeter near the bail location and located all suspects. The suspect who fled from the store on foot was also tracked down and apprehended.

One of the suspects had a backpack with a gun and cash inside.

All three male suspects face charges of aggravated robbery, and potentially other charges. A 15-year-old girl was also taken into custody for questioning.

These suspects may be related to other armed robberies across north Texas.

26-year-old shot and killed at Lake Highlands apartment complex

The Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting early this morning at the Hidden Ridge apartments, 9702 W. Ferris Branch Blvd, in the Lake Highlands area of northeast Dallas.

Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male victim with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot of the apartment complex. He was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue, but died at the hospital.

Multiple injuries in multi-vehicle crash along I30 in Fort Worth

Multiple Fort Worth PD, FD, and MedStar EMS units are on the scene of a serious crash involving serious injuries and multiple vehicles.

At least one vehicle has overturned in the crash. Multiple ambulances have been requested to the scene. CareFlite was on standby, but has been disregarded. CPR is reported to be in progress on at least one person.

There are major delays along eastbound and westbound I30 near Hulen Street in west Fort Worth due to this crash.

Fort Worth Battalion 5, Quint 16, Engine 16, Engine 8, and Engine 18 are all on scene along with multiple MedStar EMS units and PD units.

FWPD says all eastbound and westbound lanes are closed at this time.

Update – MedStar transporting at least two critical patients to the hospital. CPR in progress.

Update – All lanes reopened.

UPDATE: 16-year-old dies in Lewisville shooting; search for suspects continues

Lewisville police continue to search for the suspects involved in a late Thursday night shooting that claimed the life of a 16-year-old female and critically injured a man.

As reported earlier, police responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of S. I35E late Thursday night and found three people injured, at least two with gunshot wounds.

The female died at the hospital and at last report, the male had serious injuries. A third person was also injured.

Police are asking anyone in the I35E and 121 Business area last night around 10pm – 11pm who saw something to call them and report what they saw. 972-219-TIPS
