18-year-old female killed in shooting near Las Colinas

The Dallas Police Department is investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old female overnight near Las Colinas.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 12:50AM in the 1700 block of California Crossing just east of Riverside Drive when they located an unresponsive 18-year-old female. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased.

Investigators say she was in a parked vehicle with two other occupants when another vehicle drove up and opened fire on them.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 2010-2014 tan Chevrolet Tahoe with dark tint, lifted suspension, and all-terrain tires. Four Hispanic males were seen getting out of the suspect vehicle prior to the shooting. The suspects fled eastbound on California Crossing.

Woman dies after being “violently attacked” near hospital district in Dallas

The Dallas Police Department is investigating the death of a woman found seriously injured near the major hospitals in north Dallas.

Police located a seriously injured 39-year-old white female in the 5500 block of Maple Ave on November 1st at around 3:30AM. She was located a few blocks from Parkland Hospital.

The woman was transported to a local hospital, but died yesterday as a result of her injuries. Police say the injuries were consistent of a violent attack.

The department has launched a homicide investigation into her death.

16-year-old shot dead following disturbance at Plano house party

The Plano Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred last night in the 3200 block of Peachtree Lane.

Officers were called to the scene around 10:00PM last night after a caller heard gunshots.

Police determined that a disturbance had occurred after a group of individuals were kicked out of a house party at the location. After getting kicked out, the subjects fired into the residence.

A 16-year-old was shot. He was transported to a local hospital, but died as a result of his injuries. He was a student at Allen High School.

The Plano Police Department continues to investigate this case.

Man found shot dead in front yard of east Arlington home

The Arlington Police Department has launched a homicide investigation into the death of a man found shot in the front yard of a house on the east side of town.

Police responded to the scene in the 2400 block of Summer Place Drive just after 6:30PM this evening. When officers arrived, they located a man lying in the front yard of a house with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

According to investigators, a possible second victim arrived at Methodist Mansfield hospital, but they are still working to piece together details to see if both are related.

Person struck and killed by a vehicle along E. Loop 820 in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a possible pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes of E. Loop 820 near Sun Valley Drive in southeast Fort Worth.

All southbound lanes of E. Loop 820 have been closed as a result of this crash. All southbound lanes of 287 have also been diverted at Martin Street.

Emergency responders were called to the scene at 9:23PM regarding a possible person down in the roadway. Police say the person attempted to run across the roadway and was struck by at least one vehicle.

Fort Worth FD has confirmed this is a fatality crash. It is best to avoid this area.

Driver killed after vehicle plunges into Frisco creek

The Frisco Police Department is investigating a major accident with fatality that occurred late last night near the intersection of Preston Road and Eldorado Parkway.

Just after 10:45PM, Frisco FD/EMS and PD all responded to a major accident at the given intersection. One vehicle was located upside down in the Panther Creek relief just north of the intersection.

Emergency responders immediately began life-saving efforts after freeing the driver. Frisco EMS transported the driver to the hospital, but he later died.

Investigators believe the vehicle was northbound on Preston Road when it veered across the roadway and off into the creek.

Juvenile injured after vehicle disregards crossing guard in front of Heritage Middle School in Colleyville

The Colleyville Police Department is investigating a reported auto pedestrian crash earlier this morning in front of Heritage Middle School in Colleyville.

Police say at around 7:43AM, a 14-year-old juvenile entered the marked school crosswalk located in the 5400 block of Heritage Ave. While doing so, a vehicle traveling northbound on Heritage disregarded the school crossing guard and failed to stop.

The crossing guard was holding a stop sign in the crosswalk and sounding his whistle at the time of the incident.

The vehicle entered the crosswalk and possibly struck the 14-year-old juvenile. Police are still working to confirm if the vehicle actually hit the juvenile.

Colleyville EMS transported the juvenile to Cook Children’s Hospital and is being treated for an ankle injury.

The driver was cited for failing to comply with a lawful order of direction of a school crossing guard in a school crosswalk.

Young female struck by vehicle in front of Rountree Elementary in Allen

The Allen Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a major accident yesterday involving a child struck by a vehicle.

The crash occurred yesterday afternoon in the 800 block of E. Main Street. According to Fire Chief Jonathan Boyd, the crash occurred in front of Rountree Elementary School.

Allen EMS transported the young child to Medical City McKinney with serious injuries. The child was reported to be an 8-year-old female.

We have not received an update on her condition as of Friday after 4:30PM.

Details surrounding the crash have not yet been released by police.

Elderly female critically injured after being “mauled” by three dogs in Dallas

The Dallas Police Department says an elderly female was critically injured this morning after she was mauled by three dogs.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene on Coleshire Drive in Oak Cliff around 11:25AM this morning. When officers arrived, they located a 76-year-old female who had been attacked by pitbulls.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the female to the hospital with critical injuries.

Police say the owner of the dogs will be issued citations by Animal Control and referred to the county for a potential grand jury. The dogs are in the possession of Animal Control.

No other information has been released regarding this incident.
