UPDATE: Man airlifted after two-vehicle crash on FM 730 in Wise County
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a major accident that occurred this evening on FM 730 near County Road 4374.
Investigators say two vehicles were traveling south on FM 730 when one slowed to turn into a private driveway. The second vehicle did not slow and struck the first vehicle as it turned.
Emergency responders extricated one of the drivers from his vehicle. He was subsequently airlifted to Medical City Denton by PHI Med 10 helicopter. His injuries were undisclosed.
Lanes of FM 730 were closed while police investigated the crash. They have been reopened at this time.
