Motorcyclist killed in Denton County crash
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatality accident that occurred Saturday afternoon along FM 455 in Denton County.
At around 1:30pm, Pilot Point Fire/EMS, Denton County Sheriff’s Office, and DPS troopers were called to the intersection of FM 455 East at Massey Road near Pilot Point for a major crash involving a motorcycle.
Information relayed to 9-1-1 indicated the rider was severely injured and possibly deceased. A bystander was performing CPR when firefighters arrived on the scene.
The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 60-year-old man from Little Elm.
