Shooting (Dallas)
Officer Involved Shooting (Dallas) Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and S.M. Wright Frwy. – Officers had a reported theft suspect that was armed with a knife run from them. During the chase the suspect ran into a store & advanced at an officer with the knife. Officer shot the suspect. Field supervisor, P.E.S. (Crime scene) & S.I.U. (Special Investigations Unit) requested.
UPDATE – DPD advising all officers are OK. Unknown suspect condition but DPD confirmed at 10:45pm the suspect was not deceased despite media reports.
