Dallas Fire Rescue has requested 2 alarms to the scene of a house fire in the 5600 block of Covehaven Drive. Fire showing on arrival. Fire now knocked down, but 2nd alarm units will continue.

There was a fatal motorcycle accident with ejection yesterday afternoon at FM 917 and Applewood Court near Alvarado. Patient was transported to JPS, but did not survive due to major head injuries.

There was a fatal stabbing last evening at an apartment unit in the 500 block of W. Criner Street (Westview Apartments). According to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office, the victim, a mid-50s year old male, died of a stab wound to the chest. His death was ruled a homicide.
