Arlington Police investigating an earlier fatal auto pedestrian accident near NE Green Oaks and Shadow Ridge Drive. APD was first on scene and found a victim struck by a vehicle with no pulse and shallow breathing. The victim was transported code 3 (lights/siren) to a nearby hospital, but died at the hospital. APD is looking for a vehicle that fled the scene going westbound on NE Green Oaks, possibly a dark green or blue SUV-type vehicle.
Engine 1, Truck 11 and other DFR units along with Dallas PD are investigating a double fatality accident neat Irving Blvd and Sylvan Ave. Reported entrapment. 2 deceased per DPD.
Forest Hill and Ft Worth units are investigating a fatal accident on EB 820 near Business 287. 1 deceased on scene of a reported auto pedestrian accident. Multiple lanes closed.
Arlington and Pantego FD/PD units are working a major accident, requesting a total of 4 ambulances at Bowen Rd and Pioneer Pkwy. Extrication complete on a trapped patient. EMS evaluating now.
American Airlines Flight 1003 has declared emergency and will head back to DFW Airport.
*Update – According to a follower of DFW Scanner onboard American Airlines flight 1003, the airplane has landed safely back at DFW Airport. The flight declared an emergency over north/central Texas north of Abilene and flew back to DFW Airport. The plane was headed for Palm Springs, California. Glad to see it has landed safely.
Dallas PD are investigating a rollover accident involving a vehicle that struck a residence in the 1400 block of Holcomb Rd. According to DPD, 1 person was injured. No information on severity of injs.
