House Fire (Ft Worth)
Battalion 6, Quint 38, Engine 38, Engine 37, Engine 31, Quint 35, Safety 1, MedStar and FWPD are working a structure fire with burn victims in the 11000 block of Fumar Lane. CareFlite airlifting a critical burn victim to Parkland. At least one other victim with non serious injuries also taken to Parkland via ground.
Update on the mobile home fire in Fort Worth with burn victims:
Fort Worth FD: A mobile home fire sent two people to Parkland hospital with burns this morning. Fire crews arrived on scene to find fire coming from the side of the mobile home, thankfully both occupants had been helped to escape by their next door neighbor. Careflite transported a 69 year old male to Parkland with some 2nd degree burns. The neighbor, a 46 year old female who helped the couple esccape their house, was transported to Parkland as well with non-life threatening injuries. The female occupant of the house received some minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. The family’s dog was also rescued, however they lost two birds in the fire. American Red Cross is assisting the family with basic needs and shelter.
