Irving FD is working a defensive house fire in the 600 block of Flagstone Drive. Aerial operations in progress. Mutual aid from Dallas Fire Rescue. Avoid this area.

There is a large training exercise today at the UNT Health Science Center on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. The drill involves Fort Worth FD and PD, TCU PD, MedStar EMS, and UNTHSC PD. If you are in the area expect heavy police and fire presence. ***The training is just a drill***

*Delayed for officer/personnel safety* Law enforcement is investigating a reported shooting incident in the 100 block of Harriette Circle just off Highway 174 between Cleburne and Rio Vista. A shooting occurred and the victim was airlifted by CareFlite 6 into Fort Worth. The suspect from the original shooting then barricaded inside a home for a short time. During the barricaded person incident, the suspect was also shot (unknown circumstances at this time) and has since been flown by CareFlite 2 to JPS. Numerous Johnson County sheriffs deputies are on scene to investigate this incident. More details tomorrow.

Dallas Fire-Rescue is currently working a 3 alarm fire in the 9700 block of Whitehurst Drive. Smoke showing on FD arrival. Expect heavy fire and police presence.

Waxahachie FD, Ellis County EMS Medic 161, and law enforcement are working a rollover accident on southbound I35E near 287. CareFlite 2 has been launched from Dallas.

Everman FD is on scene of a house fire in the 1300 block of Russell Road. Working fire. Mutual aid from Rendon FD and others.

Several Johnson county departments are working a large grassfire near state highway 174 and county road 1106. One structure now reported to be involved.

Mansfield PD has closed southbound 287 near Turner Warnell due to a reported major accident. Major delays on southbound 287 back to I20 in Arlington. Its best to avoid SB 287.

Update – Roadway is being reopened at this time.

Battalion 4, Quint 24, Engine 3, and other FWFD units are working a house fire in the 5100 block of Chapman Street. Engine 22, Engine 24, Engine 14, Safety 1, Utility 6, rehab, and investigator all assigned to the box.

Dallas Fire Rescue is working a large structure fire at 7800 LBJ Freeway. Reports of a motel/hotel on fire with a couple of units involved. Command has reported they are chasing the fire at this time. More information will follow.
