Dallas Fire-Rescue is working a fire at American Airlines Center. Fire is out at this time, but units are working on removing smoke from inside the building. Expect several DFR units around the AAC.

Engine 1, Truck 1, and other Plano units are on scene of a house fire in the 1400 block of Linden Drive. Heavy fire showing. Fire attack in progress.

Fort Worth PD is on scene of a reported shooting incident in the 3800 block of Wharton Drive. There will be a very large police presence including Air-1 helicopter over the scene. AVOID this area.

Update – FWPD was responding to 9-1-1 reports of a person shot at a house in the 3800 block of Wharton Drive.

Update – Confirmed officer involved shooting.

Full update: Southside officers responded to a person with a gunshot wound in the 3800 block of Wharton Drive at around 8:30pm this evening. The first officers were on scene within a few minutes. A deceased person was located in the house with a gunshot wound to the head. It was noted that there was a possible witness to the shooting in a shed behind the residence. As officers were investigating, they encountered gunfire and returned shots. Both officers were struck. One officer was shot multiple times and is currently in critical condition. The other officer was struck in the chest, but his body armor deflected the bullet. As of midnight, over 160 officers from patrol, SWAT, tactical med, Zero Tolerance, and more are assigned to the incident.

Dallas Fire Rescue is working a 4 alarm structure fire in the 11100 block of Harry Hines Blvd. Avoid this area.

Forreston FD, Ellis County Medic 162, and multiple law enforcement are on scene of a major accident on northbound I35E near Chambers Creek between Italy and Forreston. Air Evac 51 has been launched to the scene.

Update – Air Evac 51 airlifting one to Baylor Hillcrest. One patient is also deceased on the scene.

Battalion 4, Quint 24, Engine 24, Engine 14, Rescue 14, Engine 22, MedStar, and FWPD are all working a rollover accident with entrapment off the East Loop 820 service road between Ramey and Berry streets. Vehicle reportedly rolled off the roadway. Extrication in progress. MedStar advising one person has serious injuries.

Hillsboro FD, CareFlite ground EMS, Hill County sheriffs deputies and DPS troopers are all working a rollover accident on northbound I35E just north of the split in north Hillsboro. Air Evac 51 out of Hillsboro and CareFlite 6 out of Whitney have both landed at the scene and PHI Med 6 is en route from Corsicana. Do not take northbound I35E from the split.

US-380 is closed in all directions between FM 156 and I35 in west Denton due to two serious car accidents. CareFlite airlifted a patient from one of the accident scenes to Baylor Grapevine. There is no estimated time of reopening 380. Denton PD is advising drivers to avoid this area.

Update – 380 reopened for limited traffic. Confirmed fatality from this accident.

DPS troopers, FWPD, and Air-1 are in pursuit on eastbound Western Center Blvd from I35W.

Update – Suspect(s) in custody near Western Center Blvd and Bayberry Dr. Nice job to DPS and FWPD!

Engine 18, Dallas PD and others are working an accident involving a vehicle and a DART train near the 400 block of Olive Street in downtown Dallas. This will be at the St. Paul Station, per DART. DFR is assessing any possible injuries. Expect delays in this area.
