Information from Grapevine Police: At approximately 6:30am on Wednesday, September 14, Grapevine Police officers were dispatched to Acorn Woods Park at 1000 Oak Grove Loop South. Police were alerted to a body that was located in a wooded area. It was soon discovered that the body had been dismembered and burned to some degree. Grapevine detectives are investigating this death as a homicide. The FBI and Texas Rangers are providing additional resources to assist in the investigation. Detectives and Crime Scene technicians cleared the scene about 6:30pm this evening and the park is now reopen to the public.

Argyle FD, Justin Police, and others are on scene of a reported grease truck rollover on FM 407 near Mulkey Lane. All lanes of FM 407 are closed at this time. Denton FD’s HazMat team has been requested to the scene. No serious injuries reported. Expect extended closure of FM 407 through the evening.

Battalion 8, Engine 9, and others are working a structure fire in the 500 block of Stark Road. Smoke showing from the garage. Working fire. Battalion 5, Engine 5, Engine 51, Truck 24, Truck 53, and Rescue 5 are all assigned to the box.

Princeton FD, Lowry Crossing FD, Collin County EMS, and multiple law enforcement officers have been working a severe head-on collision with entrapment on US 380 just west of Princeton. PHI Med 2 airlifted a patient to Children’s Dallas. CareFlite airlifted a patient to Presbyterian Plano. Significant delays on 380 between McKinney and Princeton.

Keller PD is on the scene of a major accident near 377 (N Main) and 1709. PHI Med 10 landed at the scene and has airlifted a patient to Cook Children’s. Reports indicate at least two vehicles involved, one car and one 18-wheeler.

Several Arlington PD and Fort Worth PD officers along with Fort Worth PD Air-1 helicopter and K-9 are searching for at least one robbery suspect in the residential area of Ballpark Way and Royalwood Drive in north Arlington. This is related to a robbery that occurred in east Fort Worth near I30 and Cooks around 10:30pm.

Multiple departments are working a major accident on Highway 281 between Morgan Mill and I-20 in Erath County near the Hood County line, according to Erath County Breaking News. Air Evac 69 and CareFlite 9 have both landed at the scene to airlift patients into DFW. Significant delays on 281 through this area. 

Aledo FD, Cresson FD, Lifecare EMS, and multiple law enforcement are all working a major accident with possible ejection and reported entrapment at Highway 377 and Kelly Road. CareFlite has landed at the scene. Reported one vehicle off the roadway. Multiple patients.

Multiple law enforcement are on the scene of a reported pursuit end near Highway 360 and Highway 287 in far south Mansfield. Dallas PD’s Air-1 helicopter is overhead. The pursuit ended around 10:30pm. Heavy police presence in this area.
