Plane Crash (McKinney)
McKinney FD is on scene of a reported plane crash in the 500 block of N Custer Road. Reported to be at the storage facility north of the Home Depot. Possibly two planes involved. Heavy smoke reported in the area. Updates as we hear them.
Update – Closing all lanes of Custer Road near Virginia Parkway due to reported debris in the roadway.
Update – Air medical is on standby for possible injuries. Fire now reported out. It’s best to completely avoid this area.
Update – There is at least one fatality reported.
