Major Accident (Arlington)
Arlington FD, Fort Worth FD, Euless FD, MedStar EMS, AMR, and police are on scene of a major accident involving a train vs. large truck near the 12500 block of Calloway Cemetery Road. Truck reported to be on fire. Fort Worth FD reports Arlington FD has the fire under control. The train has stopped near the Collins Street bridge. Multiple people on board the train to be assessed by EMS. Requesting several additional resources.
Update – Requesting more ambulances to the scene from both MedStar and AMR (Arlington). Multiple people injured on board the train. EMS assessing injuries at this time.
Update – One fatality reported to be involved in this crash. There are several people to be transported from the train. MedStar and AMR ambulances are on scene.
Update – The AmBus (Multi-Patient Vehicle) from Fort Worth / MedStar has been requested to the scene.
Update – At least six people have been transported so far from the scene. Additional ambulances and the AmBus en route for any other transports.
