Wise County emergency responders working rollover crash on 287; highway closed
Multiple emergency responders from Wise County including East Wise FD, Wise County EMS, and law enforcement agencies are working a major accident involving a vehicle rollover on southbound 287 between Decatur and Rhome. Reported to be near County Road 4421.
Southbound lanes are blocked while responders work the scene.
EMS has requested a medical helicopter to the scene. Some are declining response due to weather.
Avoid this area and take another route if your travels include this part of the freeway.
Update – PHI Med 10 helicopter has been launched to the scene.
Update – PHI Med 10 airlifted one person to JPS.
