9:10am – Severe weather headed towards DFW
A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving across the area and should arrive in the DFW Metroplex around or just before lunchtime.
This is the first of possibly two rounds of severe weather possible today. All modes of severe weather are possible, from large hail to a few tornadoes. We will have to see if this first round of weather will do anything to lessen our chances for severe weather during round 2.
If this line holds up, we could see heavy rain, frequent lightning, 60+ MPH winds, and quarter sized hail. Stay alert!
