UPDATE: Bystander shot and killed at downtown Dallas bus stop
The Dallas Police Department has released an official update regarding the shooting in downtown Dallas.
At around 6:30pm this evening, DPD responded to shooting in the 1100 block of Elm Street. They located two shooting victims. One was deceased on the scene. The other was transported to the hospital, condition unknown.
Police say there was a confrontation between two groups of individuals which led to an exchange of gunfire. During the shootout, an innocent bystander at a bus stop was shot and killed. The second victim was a part of the disturbance.
No suspects have been identified at this time, but police are interviewing witnesses.
This is an ongoing investigation.
