Teenager shot and killed while sitting inside vehicle

At around 11:25am this morning, Dallas police officers responded to a shooting call in the 600 block of N. Denley Drive south of downtown Dallas.

When officers made the scene, they located a teenage male gunshot victim. He was transported to the hospital, but died as a result of his injuries.

The preliminary investigation reveals two teenagers, including the victim, were sitting in a vehicle when they were approached by three male suspects driving a brown Dodge Caravan. One of the suspects, described as a 13-year-old male, approached the victim and fired the weapon inside the vehicle.
