Driver ejected and killed along I35W in Fort Worth
The Fort Worth Police Department says a driver was killed early this morning after being ejected from a vehicle along I35W.
Fort Worth police and fire along with MedStar personnel responded to the scene along northbound I35W near Ripy Street around 12:30am.
Police say a vehicle had become disabled along the northbound lanes of the highway when it was struck by a second vehicle. The driver of the disabled vehicle was ejected and ran over by an 18-wheeler. She was killed at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle and a male passenger in the first vehicle were transported in stable condition. The 18-wheeler driver was not injured.
There are no criminal charges at this time.
