Two dead following motorcycle crash on Highway 183 in Fort Worth

Fort Worth PD is investigating a motorcycle accident in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 at the Highway 360 interchange.

Multiple emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 12:02PM this afternoon. It was reported to involve a motorcycle with two people ejected.

MedStar confirms two people are dead on the scene.

Fort Worth FD, PD, MedStar, and Euless all responded to the scene.

Lanes of westbound 183 are blocked in this area.

Driver killed after late night crash in Carrollton

The Carrollton Police and Fire/EMS departments responded to a serious two-vehicle crash late last night around 11:31PM.

Emergency responders were called to the scene in the 2000 block of Sandy Lake Road at President George Bush Turnpike. An SUV collided with a smaller vehicle, killing the driver of the smaller vehicle.

Another occupant in the smaller vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A 2-year-old male child in the vehicle was not injured.

The driver of the SUV fled from the scene on foot. Police are still looking for his or her whereabouts.

Three shot, one fatally, at northwest Fort Worth house

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting in the 1800 block of Gould Ave. Police responded to the scene at around 1:30AM early this morning after reports that someone was shot during a party.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located a male deceased from a gunshot wound. He has been identified as a 20-year-old male from Granbury.

Emergency personnel were also notified of two additional gunshot wound victims. One of them, who was shot in the arm, was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. The third victim was taken by private vehicle to an area hospital after receiving a gunshot to the torso. Injuries to these two victims are non-life-threatening.

The suspect fled the scene after the shooting. Homicide detectives are still investigating the incident at this time.

Air Evac launched to rollover crash near Alvarado

Alvarado FD Engine 79 is on scene of a major accident along the northbound I35W service road near County Road 107. This will be on the I35W service road between Alvarado and Grandview.

Alvarado FD reports one vehicle is overturned in the ditch. Engine 79 has requested the launch of a medical helicopter to the scene.

Grandview FD Squad 75 is responding to assist. Johnson County EMS (AMR) is also assigned for patient care.

Air Evac 51 has been launched to the scene.

Fort Worth Quint 33 catches fire on Highway 360

Fort Worth Fire Department’s Quint 33 has caught fire in the northbound lanes of Highway 360 near Green Oaks Road. Unknown injuries at this time.

Grand Prairie FD is en route to the scene to put out the fire. Multiple other fire apparatus are en route to the scene. No injuries reported.

Heavy fire and smoke is showing from the ladder truck. The fire appears to have started near the cab of the apparatus.

Update – Fort Worth FD says the truck was returning to the station following an air horn repair. The driver noticed smoke and flame from beneath the truck. He was able to get off the highway just before smoke filled the cab. Luckily, no injuries.

This truck is a late 2000’s model Spartan ladder truck.

Lanes of 121 closed in Haltom City due to multi-vehicle crash

All lanes of northbound 121 are closed just prior to Handley-Ederville Road due to a multi-vehicle crash. Haltom City FD Quint 471, Richland Hills Engine 291, Medic 291, and police are on scene.

Reports indicate there are at least three vehicles involved. One vehicle caught fire. Major damage to the vehicles was reported.

Three tow trucks have been requested to the scene.

All lanes are forced to exit off the highway until emergency responders are able to clear up the scene. It is best to avoid this area.

Child ejected, adult injured after rollover crash with vehicle fire in Ennis

A child has been flown to the hospital following a reported major accident involving a vehicle fire along northbound Highway 287 near the Texas Motorplex between Ennis and Waxahachie.

Ennis FD, Ennis PD, and Ellis County EMS Medic 172 all responded to the scene around 10:40AM this morning. Medic 172 requested a medical helicopter to the scene along with a second ambulance. Ennis FD responded to contain the vehicle fire.

Police say the vehicle was northbound on Highway 287 when the driver lost control. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned. During the crash, the child was ejected.

Air Evac 74 airlifted the child to Children’s Dallas hospital with undisclosed injuries. The adult was transported by ground ambulance to Baylor Scott and White Waxahachie with undisclosed injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.

Highway 377 closed in Denton County for fatality accident investigation

The Northeast Police Department has closed all northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 377 near Stewart Road in the Krugerville area due to a major accident involving a fatality.

Reports indicate a pickup truck rear-ended a commercial truck. Firefighters confirm a fatality from this crash.

The accident investigation is taking place on the highway between FM 424 and Spring Hill Road south of Aubrey in Denton County. It is best to avoid this area until further notice.
