Police investigating a shooting death in Denton
The Denton Police Department says they are investigating a homicide in the 3100 block of Kappwood Court.
Police received two calls at around lunchtime today. One was female stating she had information regarding a homicide that had occurred. The second was a male who admitted to killing his fiancé.
When officers arrived at the residence, they arrested the male, and located a female deceased from a gunshot wound.
A homicide investigation is ongoing at this time.
