Female found dead in alleyway of neighborhood in The Colony
The Colony Police Department is investigating a death in the 5200 block of Strickland Ave. According to officials, police were called to the scene around 7:45AM this morning.
An unconscious female was located in an alleyway of the neighborhood. Emergency responders were called and pronounced the female deceased on the scene.
Officers shut off the surrounding area, and have been processing the crime scene throughout the morning.
The identity of the female has not been released. At this time, police are investigating this as a death investigation.
