Man arrested for attempting to throw female over bridge along highway

The Fort Worth Police Department has arrested a 26-year-old man after police say he attempted to throw a female over a bridge railing on Saturday.

The incident began as a domestic situation in the area of Seminary Drive and I35W. The suspect, a 26-year-old man, and a 28-year-old female were involved in a dispute. At some point during the situation, the man attempted to throw her over the bridge railing and onto the highway.

Police responded and took an offense report. The man was arrested and booked into the Tarrant County jail on an attempted murder charge.
