Bicyclist struck, killed along Highway 380 in Denton County
The Northeast Police Department is investigating a major accident involving a vehicle and a bicycle that occurred earlier this morning just before 4:00AM.
Multiple emergency responders were called to the scene along Highway 380 near FM 720 and Walmart Drive. Lanes were closed while police investigated the scene.
According to unconfirmed reports, a bicyclist was riding to work when he was struck by a vehicle. He was transported to Medical City Denton, but pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified as a 49-year-old male.
An official report from the Northeast PD has not been released at this time.
