UPDATE: Ex-boyfriend wanted for murdering woman at North Dallas Walmart found dead

The Dallas Police Department responded to a shooting this past Sunday evening at the Walmart, 15220 Montfort Drive in far north Dallas. A woman was found shot and killed at the store.

According to investigators, a man confronted a 22-year-old woman and others inside the Walmart store. The two went outside and started arguing. During the verbal dispute, the man, who is allegedly the ex-boyfriend of the woman, pulled out a gun and shot her. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect fled the scene on foot. Detectives were able to identify the suspect using a Facebook photo and store surveillance video. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

While police were searching for him, he was found deceased in Greenville, TX east of Dallas. He has been identified as a 24-year-old male. It is unclear if his death was a criminal or intentional / self act.

Dallas Police continue to investigate the incident.
