North Dallas: Armed suspects in vehicle exchange shots with armed citizen who told them to slow down
The Dallas Police Department responded to a shots fired call last night in far north Dallas at 14800 Preston Road. Officers met with a 9-1-1 caller who stated that armed suspects in a vehicle had opened fire on him.
The man stated he saw the suspect vehicle “driving fast” and told them to slow down, at which point two occupants inside the vehicle brandished weapons and fired shots toward the man.

The suspect vehicle crashed into a building, causing extensive damage to a garage.
The suspects ran from the crash scene. It is unknown if any of them were shot during the exchange. The armed citizen was not injured during the shootout.
