Two men shot, killed after altercation at Pleasant Grove gas station

Dallas Police Department is investigating the shooting deaths of two men that occurred around 6:30AM this morning at a gas station in the Pleasant Grove neighborhood of Southeast Dallas.

Officials say four people, two men and two women, were sitting inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a gas station in the 9100 block of Bruton Road. As the group sat in the vehicle, another vehicle suddenly pulled into the lot and parked in front of them.

Three armed suspects exited and approached the four individuals sitting in the car. An altercation ensued. The two men in the vehicle attempted to flee, but were both shot multiple times by the suspects.

After the shooting, all three suspects and the two women got into the suspect vehicle and fled the scene.

A short time later, police were notified that a vehicle marching the suspect’s description had crashed in the 8900 Shorelark Drive. Officers responded and apprehend all five individuals hiding in a shed.

The incident remains under investigation.
