Lanes of I-30 closed in Fort Worth due to wrong-way crash
Multiple emergency responders from the Fort Worth FD, PD, and MedStar EMS are on scene of a major accident along westbound Interstate 30 at Cherry Lane.
According to police, officers were responding to a wrong-way driver traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of travel.
During the incident, a responding officer was involved in a crash.
MedStar says two people have been seriously injured in the crash. It is not yet known if the officer has been injured.
All westbound lanes of I-30 have been closed due to this crash. Avoid the area.
Update – An officer was involved in a crash while responding to the wrong way driver call. It does not appear the officer was involved in the actual crash.
