Driver killed in northeast Dallas rollover crash
The Dallas Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred around 1:00AM near the 6000 block of Abrams Road in northeast Dallas.
Officials say an SUV was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Abrams Road when it left the roadway, hit a pole, and overturned. The vehicle came to rest in the roadway.
Bystanders performed CPR on the driver, but his injuries were too severe. Dallas Fire Rescue paramedics pronounced him deceased on the scene.
The roadway was closed during the overnight hours while Dallas police investigated the scene.
