Dallas police looking for suspects who shot, killed father and daughter in Pleasant Grove

The Dallas Police Department is investigating the shooting deaths of a man and his daughter that occurred Sunday evening in the Pleasant Grove area.

According to eyewitnesses, a 49-year-old man was approached by three black males at a house in the 2800 block of Kirven Street around 8:30PM last night. During the encounter, the man was shot by a young black male with dreadlocks. All three suspects then jumped into a vehicle and sped off.

The man’s daughter, a 30-year-old woman, jumped into a vehicle and pursued the shooting suspects. At some point during the pursuit, one of the armed suspects shot and killed her. She was found deceased in her vehicle along Jennie Lee Lane, not far from the original crime scene.

Police believe the suspect vehicle is a small four-door sedan, possibly a Honda Civic, with black rims. The vehicle was occupied by three black males.
