Corvette driver fleeing from Frisco police killed in high speed crash

The Frisco Police Department is investigating a fatality accident that occurred yesterday morning at the intersection of Dallas Parkway and Warren Parkway.

Just before 5:00am on Tuesday morning, Frisco police were called to the Frisco Station apartment complex at 4141 Forest Green Avenue in reference to a home invasion. Officers received information that a possible suspect was seen driving off in a silver 2019 Chevrolet Corvette.

An officer spotted the Corvette driving down Gaylord Parkway and attempted to stop it. The driver sped off, eventually turning onto Cowboys Way eastbound to southbound Dallas Parkway. The suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 36-year-old man from Plano.

The driver of the pickup truck, shown below, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
