Body recovered from Trinity River near Fort Worth’s Botanical Gardens
At around 4:00pm this afternoon, Fort Worth FD and PD along with MedStar EMS all responded to a possible drowning near Fort Worth’s Trinity Park and Botanical Gardens.
Officials say a train conductor spotted the body as the train went over the Trinity River trestle bridge near Forest Park Blvd and Parkview Drive.
Fort Worth FD’s Dive Team was called to assist in the recovery. The victim has been identified as a man in his 30’s.
The incident remains under investigation.
