Suspect arrested after fatal shooting of 19-year-old man at Euless apartments

The Euless Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred Thursday evening at the Ash Lane Apartment Homes at 601 E. Ash Lane.

Just after 5:30pm on Thursday evening, Euless police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of the apartment complex. They located a young male with a gunshot wound.

Euless paramedics transported the victim to Baylor Grapevine with life-threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries during the overnight hours.

Euless detectives worked many leads and identified the suspect as a 22-year-old male, who was later arrested by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim has been identified as a 19-year-old man who lived at the apartment complex.

The investigation is still underway.

Missing Richland Hills child found in neighbor’s pool

The Richland Hills Police Department is investigating a tragic incident that occurred this afternoon in the 3100 block of Crites Street.

Just after 1:00pm, Richland Hills PD and assisting agencies responded to a report of a missing 2-year-old in the neighborhood. Officers immediately started searching the area and located the child in a neighbor’s swimming pool.

Officers got the child out of the pool and began performing CPR until paramedics arrived. Paramedics continued life-saving measures while en route to a local hospital, but the child was pronounced deceased.

At this time, police say the incident appears to be a tragic accident and no foul play is suspected.

Two men killed in northwest Fort Worth shooting

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred this morning near the 1800 block of Shepheard Drive in northwest Fort Worth. This incident occurred near the city border with River Oaks.

At 8:52am, Fort Worth police officers were dispatched to the area of Shepheard Drive and Montrose Drive for reports of a shooting. Officers found two males with gunshot wounds at the scene. One of them was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

Police say this homicide is drug-related in nature.

One of the victims has been identified as an 18-year-old male.

The incident remains under investigation.
