Motorcyclist killed in Parker County crash
On Sunday, November 5th, at around 3:33pm, multiple agencies were dispatched to a major accident involving a motorcycle on the north service road of I20 at FM 1189.
DPS Troopers say the driver of a small pickup truck was turning left onto FM 1189 from the westbound service road when he struck a motorcyclist traveling eastbound on the service road. The pickup truck failed to yield the right of way, police say.
Paramedics transported the 71-year-old motorcyclist to a local hospital, but he was pronounced deceased from his injuries. He was from Millsap.
The driver of the pickup truck was not seriously hurt.
The investigation is ongoing.
