Motorcyclist killed in crash with semi on I35W, Fort Worth police say
On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at approximately 1:27 a.m., Fort Worth Police Department, Fort Worth Fire Department, and MedStar EMS were dispatched to a major accident on I35W (North Freeway) and Fossil Creek Blvd.
Upon arrival, officers located a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
The driver of the semi was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Northbound lanes of I35W were closed for most of the overnight while police worked the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the motorcyclist once next of kin has been notified.
