Shooting deaths of 3 people near Dallas Love Field likely related

The Dallas Police Department is investigating the shooting deaths of three individuals near Dallas Love Field.

On Monday evening, at about 11:45 PM, Dallas officers responded to a shooting in the 7700 block of Harry Hines Blvd and found a vehicle abandoned at the location. An occupant from the vehicle was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.

A short time later, at about 12:10 a.m., Dallas officers checked the registration of the vehicle, and it came back to a residence in the 2300 block of Gilford Street. Officers went to the home and found two people dead from gunshot wounds at the location.

“The preliminary investigation determined that these two incidents appear to be related; this was not a random shooting and appeared to be linked to criminal activity,” Dallas PD says.

There is no suspect in custody.
