UPDATE: Man fatally struck by vehicle in Crowley

At around 2:00pm this afternoon, Crowley Fire/EMS and Police responded to a person struck by a vehicle in the 900 block of W. Main Street.

Emergency responders located a 67-year-old man suffering from critical injuries. Crowley EMS transported the man to a local trauma center, but he was pronounced deceased.

Crowley Police are still investigating the accident. No further information is available.

Man fatally shot at east Fort Worth fast food restaurant

On Thursday, August 7, at 9:52pm, Fort Worth police responded to a shooting at the Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken restaurant in the 6100 block of Ramey Avenue.

Initial reports indicate gunshots were heard in the area. A 9-1-1 caller reported a possible gunshot victim inside of a vehicle in front of the restaurant.

Officers arrived and located a 36-year-old man inside a car deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.

Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Fiery crash kills one person in Saginaw

On Friday, August 8, 2025, at around 3:03am, Saginaw Police and Fire along with Fort Worth Fire and EMS responded to a crash in the eastbound lanes of Loop 820 and Blue Mound Road.

When emergency responders arrived, they located a single vehicle crashed into the median and on fire.

Bystanders pulled the driver from the vehicle, who was found laying in the median near the crash scene.

Fort Worth EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

Three people shot at large outdoor party & trail ride in Ellis County

At around 1:30am on Sunday morning, Ellis County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a large outdoor party and trail ride event in the 800 block of Batchler Road near Red Oak.

Upon arrival, emergency responders located three gunshot wound victims. All three individuals were transported to area hospitals where one remains in serious condition.

The incident occurred at an unsanctioned “trail ride” event, which included a day-long back to school supply giveaway, water balloon fight, live music, horseback riding, and more.

Most of the attendees were not residents of Ellis County, the Sheriff says. He says such large scale events must obtain a permit, which was not done for this event.

It is unknown if any suspect(s) is in custody.

UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed in Granbury crash

At around 3:20pm this afternoon, Granbury Fire and Police along with Texas EMS responded to a major accident involving a motorcycle in the 3600 block of FM 4 South just south of Highway 377 intersection.

Police say a 31-year-old Granbury man was operating a motorcycle at “excessively high speeds” and struck an SUV which was turning onto the highway from a private drive.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.

UPDATE: Two people killed, two others seriously hurt in Parker County crash

On August 4, 2025, at approximately 6:10 am, multiple emergency responders from Parker County ESD #1, Parker County Hospital District EMS, Texas DPS and Parker County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash at FM 51 and Veal Station Road.

DPS says a passenger car, driven by a 24-year-old man, was traveling northbound on FM 51 south of Veal Station Road when the vehicle hydroplaned due to recent heavy rains. His vehicle veered into the southbound lane of FM 51 and hit an SUV. Both vehicles came to rest in the southbound lane of FM 51.

The 24-year-old driver of the car and one of his passengers, a 19-year-old man, were pronounced deceased at the scene. A 22-year-old sitting in the back of the vehicle was transported to a Fort Worth hospital with serious injuries.

The 35-year-old woman traveling southbound in the SUV was extricated from her vehicle and transported to a Fort Worth hospital with serious injuries.

Lanes of FM 51 were closed while DPS investigators worked the scene.

UPDATE: Man killed in motorcycle crash near Cleburne

On Sunday morning, August 3, at around 7:40am, Bono volunteer firefighters, CareFlite paramedics, and multiple law enforcement officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on westbound Highway 67 near County Road 1226 A west of Cleburne.

Investigators say a motorcyclist traveling westbound on the highway attempted to pass another westbound vehicle, and collided head-on with a pickup truck traveling eastbound.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased on the scene. He has been identified as a 38-year-old man from Cleburne.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Woman killed, another injured after pulling up to planned fight in Fort Worth

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on Sunday morning. Fort Worth officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of E. Robert St. in reference to a shooting call.

Upon arrival, officers located the deceased female victim in a vehicle with numerous gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by medical personnel.

A short while later, officers were notified of a second shooting victim arriving at an area hospital for medical treatment related to this shooting. Detectives found that the deceased and second victim were at the location to engage in a fight with females who were present. As the vehicle, driven by the second victim, approached the group, unknown suspects fired multiple shots, striking the vehicle and both victims.

The females and the suspects fled the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating. No arrests have been made.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the manner and cause of death, as well as the identity of the deceased.

Man shot, killed at Fort Worth motel

The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred early Sunday morning, around 6:00am.

Officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of N Main St. responding to a shooting call.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim inside of his room with at least one apparent gunshot wound to his torso. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.

Detectives found that the suspect arrived at the location with several other people. The suspect knocked on the victim’s door, and the door was answered by a witness followed shortly by the victim. The victim and suspect exchanged words for a brief moment, and the victim shut the door. The suspect returned to the vehicle he arrived in and retrieved a handgun from the vehicle or its occupants. The suspect then returned to the door and fired multiple shots through the door, striking the victim.

The suspect and others fled the scene in the vehicle.

A short while later, the suspect and other occupants were observed at a nearby business. Officers responded to the location and were able to detain the other occupants and arrest the suspect.

The suspect will be booked into jail on a murder charge after being interviewed.

Homicide detectives are investigating.

Man killed in motorcycle crash near Decatur

On August 2, 2025, at 6:05 p.m., Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on the westbound lanes of US-380 near Nicholas Way in Wise County.

A preliminary investigation indicated that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound when the driver left the roadway and collided with the center median guard rail. 

The driver, a 78-year-old male from Bowie, TX, was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

This investigation is ongoing.
