From BSPD: On Wednesday August 27, 2014 at 11:50pm the Balch Springs Police Department responded to a welfare concern at the Quail Village Apartments located at 12227 Quail Drive in Balch Springs. Officers were asked to check the welfare of a white female 51 years old who had not shown up for work. Officers arrived at the apartment finding the door closed but unlocked. Officers entered the home and located a white female dead inside the residence.
The Balch Springs Criminal Investigations detectives are investigating this death as a homicide.
Arlington PD investigating an individual shot multiple times near the intersection of Southeast Pkwy and New York Ave. Transported to MCA. Ongoing search for suspect.
