Mesquite PD has just taken a suspect into custody from a SWAT incident on Hwy 80 near Collins Road secondary to a police pursuit.

Dallas PD are investigating an officer involved shooting secondary to a disturbance and police pursuit that ended near Prairie Creek Rd and Lake June Rd. No PD injuries.

Engine 7 is on scene with heavy smoke and fire thru the roof of a large 2 story home in the 5200 block of Westgrove Drive. Working fire. Requesting 2 alarms.

NB I35E is closed due to an accident at Corinth Parkway. Closure is expected to last at least 2 more hours. It is best to avoid the area.
