NWS Issues a Tornado WATCH For a Portion of North Texas

The US National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Tornado WATCH for a portion of North Texas. At current time (2:11pm), the issuance DOES NOT include the immediate Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, but it does include areas generally west.

It is important to note that although this WATCH does not include the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, the forecast may change later in the day and increase the risk for our area as storms form and move east. Stay up to date on the forecast.

Remember: A Tornado WATCH indicates conditions are favorable for thunderstorms with the potential of tornadoes.
