Overnight pursuit in Dallas, Collin counties ends with one person in custody
A long pursuit involving multiple agencies during the overnight hours eventually led to one person in custody.
The pursuit, which lasted over an hour, traveled on I30, 635, I35E, PGBT, 75, SRT, and others across Dallas and Collin counties. The pursuit began around 1AM in the Highland Park area and eventually ended in Frisco.
In the early portion of the chase, Highland Park PD, Dallas Sheriffs along with DPD Air-1 were following the vehicle along I30. The vehicle was reportedly hauling another vehicle on a U-Haul trailer.
Garland PD, Farmers Branch PD, DPS-101 helicopter, DPS troopers, and many other agencies assisted while the pursuit traveled through much of Dallas County and into Collin.
The pursuit came to an end in south Frisco near the intersection of Hillcrest Road and Lebanon Road.
