UPDATE: 17-year-old dies in Burleson crash
The Burleson Police Department says the family has confirmed that a 17-year-old senior student at Centennial High School died yesterday in a serious car crash on Hidden Creek Parkway.
Emergency responders were called to the scene around 3:30PM on Hidden Creek Parkway near Dobson Street.
Police say they are still investigating the cause of the crash, but confirm the vehicle that the deceased was driving was traveling down Hidden Creek Parkway when it hit two other vehicles and a light pole. The vehicle then caught fire.
The Medical Examiner has not publicly released the identity of the victim, but the family confirms it is a 17-year-old senior student at Centennial High School.
