Man struck and killed by vehicle along I35W in Fort Worth
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a major accident involving a pedestrian in the 7400 block of North Freeway (I35W) service road near Basswood Blvd.
Police say a man was outside his vehicle along the service road when he was accidentally struck by a passing vehicle. He has been pronounced deceased at the scene.
It is unclear if the vehicle stopped to render aid at the scene.
The department’s Traffic Investigations Unit is investigating the scene. Expect heavy police activity in the area.
